Still have not received our shipment after weeks of calling and emailing
So I've been using the same Orbatron 8 kilo Dumbbells off and on since 1986 that I received as a part of a set. (HS Graduation present). These Kraft Steel Raw Dumbbells (22.5lb) are like a work of art. The quality you can feel instantly. A Huge Uprade for me. They exceeded my expectations & get this: they are not made in China but in Illinois. Hallelujah ✝️
These weights are solid .... solid steel that is. Whenever I pick these bad boys up there's a nice little gleam that shines throughout the room, as well as giving me a nice pump. I can't WEIGHT to get the whole set..
Great set of dumbbells, especially like the grooved handles that make it easier to grip when sweaty. Also like the shape so it's easy to do pushups and other things that we need them to be stable for.
Everything arrived on time and was well packed so it didn't get wet, even though it was outside for 2 days in the rain. Rack was easy to setup and was well made and love the dumbbells.
I like the curl bar I bought and I'd give it five (5) stars if it weren't imported from China.

The bar is important to develop the grip. I use it to perform squat, inclined paddle, dead weight, in which it is necessary to hang the bar with your hands. Unique warm. I recommend it.
The 7 1/2 lb dumbbells that were ordered as part of the set did not match the rest of the ones I ordered. Disappointed since they are not the same style and no remedy or followup option was ever made. Also the pictures did not represent the mismatch.

We are a public school in Texas and most of our student athletes can power clean over 250 so the bumpers take a beating from being dropped repeatedly. We needed to replace some 14 year old bumpers due to cracking. The Troy brand has held up so we wanted to replace to others with Troy brand. Dumbells Direct had the product we wanted and a reasonable price. They were willing to work with us through all the red tape that comes with being a public school (approved vendors, PO, invoicing, etc). Actually this is the second bar I have owned. One is my gym in Illinois and the new one is being used here in Florida. Waiting for the tri-bar to come back into stock.
