Contacted Steve to purchase a Troy chrome end cap to use as a gauage to turn the heads down on our American bolts to fit where the soft head Chinese bolts are in our dumbbells. The Chinese bolt heads strip out when you try to torque them and thus have to be replaced over time. We're about 1/3 of the way of retrofitting our dumbbells and wanted the end plate for our machinist to use so he can prepare some bolts ahead to reduce our downtime on the equipment. After finding out that Troy offers no replacement parts except labels, he decided to provide us a pair of 10 lb dumbbells that could be disassembled temporarily to provide an end plate to machine the bolts ahead to be ready to fix the rest of our dumbbells as they become loose and the Allen sockets strip out when we tighten them. I give Steve a "5" for his excellent service and solving a problem that Troy has no answer for. I give Troy a "0".

I absalutely love the 12 and a half pound Troy dumbbell for one thing my Gym that I workout at got rid of there Troy pro style Dumbbells except the Troy rubber coated pro style kind but the problem is they start at 25 pounds and go on heavier in in 5 pound increments anyway I miss the Troy pro style and bought my own to fill in the gaps!!!
